Children and young people at risk of harm in Renfrewshire are significantly positively impacted by services in their area, according to a new report.
Inspectors from the Care Inspectorate, in partnership with Education Scotland, Healthcare Improvement Scotland and His Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary in Scotland, found major strengths in services for children and young people at risk of harm in the Renfrewshire community planning partnership.

A joint progress review of adult support and protection in South Ayrshire has found significant improvement in ensuring that adults at risk of harm are safe, protected and supported.
Inspectors also noted further improvements by the partnership were still necessary in some key areas.

New process for collecting feedback from care service providers
From week commencing 21 October 2024, we are changing the process of how we collect feedback from care service providers following inspections.
Previously, feedback from providers was gathered through Microsoft Forms. We are now introducing a more streamlined process that links feedback to individual inspections.
