To reduce the amount of information overall and ensure it is clear and relevant to each individual sector, there are now three versions of the guidance: 

• early learning and childcare (including childminders) services
• children and young people services 
• adult services.  

Please note the guidance contains information on the updated notification of a protection concern (previously allegation of abuse) which is not live until 7 April 2025.
