Improvement Notice - Homecare Support, Edinburgh
A care at home service in Edinburgh has been told to make urgent improvements in the care it provides to vulnerable people.
The Care Inspectorate has served a formal Improvement Notice on Homecare Support, an independent provider of home care based in Lower Granton Road. It follows an inspection of the service which raised concerns.
The notice lists three areas which require urgent improvement by March 31 2017: visit times, medication and staff training.

Services for Children and Young People in Shetland, progress review
A review of services for children and young people in Shetland has found evidence of significant improvement following an earlier inspection.
Inspectors recently returned to the Shetland Community Planning Partnership to assess progress made following an inspection in July 2015 which identified an area of concern which needed improvement.
