This request portal is for members of the public, data subjects, public bodies including Police Scotland, SSSC, NMC Service Providers, Service users and any one else that may want to ask for, or about, our information.

The issues facing the care sector in Scotland are common to those faced in other countries. Rising expectations of care, demographic changes and increased public scrutiny on the quality of care all contribute to changing patterns of care practice.
The Hub is a great resource to find our up-to-date information, examples and illustrations of high-quality care in Scotland. There is no charge for using The Hub, so please feel free to do so.
The Care Inspectorate receives frequent requests from regulators, inspection agencies and improvement bodies who are interested in improving the quality of social care and social work. Our inspectors are regularly invited to participate in a variety of events and activities abroad. They also regularly receive international visitors who are interested in their work and, in particular, in their approaches to evaluation.
