New learning resource available - Respecting and Protecting Adults at Risk in Scotland
NES (NHS Education for Scotland) have launched this learning resource to support and prepare health and social care practitioners in the practical application of the provisions of The Adults with Incapacity (Scotland) Act 2000, the Mental Health (Care and Treatment)(Scotland) Act 2003 and the Adult Support and Protection (Scotland) Act 2007.
The resource equates to level 9 of the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework and comprises four flexible modules designed to act as independent, stand-alone learning resources. You can complete the modules independently, however it may enhance your learning to share your ideas and experiences with others who are using the resource. Self assessment elements and personal action plans at the end of each module will support your future learning and development.
